If you’re not happy with the names assigned by QuarkXPress 6/7/8 to your exported PDFs, you can control that by choosing QuarkXPress > Preferences > PDF, and then choose a default naming convention: Project_Layout.pdf Layout_Project.pdf Project.pdf Layout.pdf (Note: in some versions, the dialog box mistakenly shows “:” instead of “_”)
