Many Mac OS X applications allow you to organize items in custom ways. The Finder lets you file things in folders; in iPhoto, you can add photos to albums; and so on. The Automator application that’s included with Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard offers the same capability.
Create custom action groups to organize any third-party actions you’ve installed, or the actions you use most often. When actions are grouped, it’s easier and faster to find the ones you need to create or edit an Automator workflow.
